Man pursues only one goal

.

In order to obtain pleasure, human beings use stimuli, albeit physical or psychological, in that both possess the ability to gratify one's own sensory system.  The physical stimuli are part of the first evolutive stage and principally characterize instinctivity, while the psychological characteristics are a consequence of the cerebral evolution and allows access to more complex and sophisticated types of gratification.  With physical stimuli, the brain is solicited to emit gratifying impulses through the direct absorption of substances (food, drinks, pharmaceuticals, drugs, etc). Instead, with psychological stimuli the mind is solicited to gratify the body by elaboration of mere virtual signals (convictions, presumptions, desires, feelings, etc).  Cerebral activity allows man to formulate infinite hypotheses in order to absolve their own needs, these hypotheses can be " real " or " imaginary ".  To place oneself in the condition to distinguish between the two types of hypotheses assumes for all an enormous importance because both are in a position to influence the sensory system conditioned strongly to human behavior.

.

To create imaginary worlds, in order to gratify oneself with one’s own convictions, has been the main motivation that has developed over time a multitude of virtual realities.  Realities that are often constructed upon the involuntary ignorance expressed from ages in which it was not necessary that truth  had to satisfy characteristics purely and typically rational.  To make oneself aware of cultural limits that had generated many of those wrong convictions means to make a decisive step towards the knowledge of the actual rules that guide the world of reality.

.

Every form of life follows only one single directive:

.

to do anything to obtain the maximum individual advantages.

.

This means that every life form, excluding no one, is induced by nature to pursue his own sensory well-being, his own physical pleasure.  To arrive at this purpose they often follow different roads, but the directive is and will always remain the same for everyone.  It is the key that turns the world; if it did not exist, life would not be possible because it would be lacking any motivation to induce evolution.

.

Therefore, it is natural and logical that every person reasons, thinks, and acts in order to achieve his own personal well-being given that this is the only true directive imposed on life.

.

We can study all the actions accomplished in the course of our existence and we would always, however, have to agree that they have the same identical motivational base.  To have fun, do sports, have a hobby, travel, etc., are all actions that should imply sensory well-being.  To carry out any type of action is a way to obtain pleasure in consequence of the economic or moral revenue.  Even renunciations are tied, in any case, to sensory gratification, because they are renounced to avoid afflictions.  Not committing crimes, for example, is a decision influenced by the fear of being persecuted, which would provoke suffering. Even adhering to a religious faith presupposes a final prize for conduct during life.  Even simple meditation, without completing any action, cannot be considered an end in itself, because it allows the elaboration of concepts that afterwards lead to concrete actions, actions directed at satisfying the personal system itself.  Even absolute inertia procures pleasure, otherwise idleness would not be the father of vice.  The directive is therefore confirmed according to which, at the base of any action, reasoning, or human thought, a forced

.

  sensory necessity always exists to obtain pleasure or to avoid pain.

.

The sensorial direction given to life constitutes the objective probation of another fundamental law:  evolution.  The evolutionistic principle of matter is written precisely in the main directive of human ability to always pursue pleasure because it represents the transformation, obviously at a more complex level, of the starting principle found  in every single atom:

.

.

Attraction = Pleasure

.

 Repulsion = Displeasure.

.
