Search for truth

.

For proceeding in every analyses it is indispensable to establish a criterion with which to measure every procedure.

.

A criterion without which every result would be meaningless.

.

This is indispensable in order to separate the real truth from those " imaginary or presumed ones " since:  whoever is not able to recognize the difference between the two undermines the base of his own culture.  When people are not in a position to distinguish the true laws of the real world from those invented by human imagination, they have the near-certainty that the information, given and assumed as true, are instead objectively wrong and unreliable.

.

To separate truth from imagination is now rationally possible; the intellectual ability of the human mind allows it to recognize this difference.  If someone tried to induce another to think differently, denying such a possibility, surely he is defending, more or less unconsciously, personal interests or presumptions that are erroneously considered profitable to himself.

.

.

Concept of truth:

Absolute certainties do not exist; there exist only suppositions that are modifiable in space and within time, suppositions that are always subject to the culture of the examiner.  Every truth has only a percentage of probability to turn out right, it can never be definitive.  Reason forces the acceptance of those answers that have the maximum percentage of rationally obtainable probability.

.

.

In other words, this means that: absolute truths do not exist, but only relative truths that are derived from scientific data obtained with the rising of the cultural level.

Those truths that result more logical, rational, and scientifically demonstrable are those to accept as temporarily valid, but must be abandoned at the moment in which it is possible to arrive at truths that have a greater degree of probability of being true.

.

.

The cultural honesty of the examiner is fundamental to establish the truth to consider, since whoever has been involved in defending a self-interest or personal conviction, is manifestly a declared enemy of the truth.  Whoever advances a personal conviction, refusing to apply rationality to his thoughts, is unconsciously slave to his own personal egocentric instincts that preclude him from the real world vision.

.

.

These concepts lay down a basic rule in the search for truth: whoever holds their beliefs as fixed, is subject to conditioning that prevent them from judging themselves. Whoever depends on preconceived beliefs has been led unconsciously to distort reality in order to make it adhere to their own personal presumption. Denying oneself the opportunity to change ones beliefs, means renouncing the opportunity to make an analysis of what truth which may be more convenient for their lives. Defending personal opinions impersonating absolute truth, means lying to the system and preventing the community from finding the right solutions to one's needs.
